Twophold sets deadline for success

Te Whai Ao — Dodd-Walls Deputy Director Industry, Nate Davis and student Nikita Shumilov have given themselves 18 months to prepare to meet investors.

The pair are splitting photons and developing a film coating to work with perovskite solar-cell technology. Their project is one of two Māori partnered projects under the guiding Vision Mātauranga, which aims to unlock the potential of Māori knowledge, people and resources. They spoke to Greg Hurrell from Business Desk about their self-imposed deadline to achieve a commercial win.
