Dr Freddy Lyzwa

Freddy moved to Aotearoa New Zealand in 2022 with an independent Postdoc Fellowship from the Swiss National Science Foundation. He joined the Centre in 2024, and is based out of The University of Auckland. His research interests include Aerospace Technology, Photonics, and the Optical Characterization and Manipulation of Materials - preferably the Quantum ones.
The Dodd-Walls Centre research focus is photonics, the generation, transmission, and manipulation of light, and the study of matter and energy at the quantum level.
