Our Collaborators

Te Whai Ao — Dodd-Walls is a Centre of Research Excellence. Alongside our enviable international reputation, we bring together a national team, comprised of experts from six universities: Otago, Auckland, Massey, Canterbury, Auckland University of Technology and Victoria University of Wellington, as well as New Zealand’s Measurements Standards Laboratory.

Beyond the central relationships with Callaghan Innovation, Kiwinet, Return on Science, and the Commercialisation Partner Network, we have built or are building, excellent working relationships with the New Zealand Product Accelerator, Technology Transfer Offices (Auckland UniServices, Otago Innovation, Massey Ventures, Waikato Link, Wellington UniVentures), Crown Research Institutes and others such as GNS Science, Malaghan Institute, MacDiarmid Institute, The New Zealand Institute for Minerals to Materials Research (NZIMMR), and the Institute of Environmental Science and Research (ESR).

We have existing connections with the United States Embassy, the UK High Commission, American Chamber of Commerce, KEA Network, Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade and others that are instrumental in opening doors to opportunities for our scientists to participate in well-funded projects with highly regarded international partners such as NASA, Varian Systems, Edwards Lifesciences, NIST and its global Quantum Economic Development Consortium or QED-C and others.
